Where the DNS settings live
- Sign in and open Domains → My Domains.
- Click the domain, then Host Records (sometimes under "DNS Settings").
Adding a record
- Add a row: Host Name (
@for the root), Record Type, Address. - Click Save.
Editing or deleting a record
- Change the row and save; clear the row and save to delete.
Changing the nameservers
- Open Name Servers for the domain, choose custom, and enter them.
Gotchas at Enom
- Enom offers "URL Redirect" and "Frame Redirect" as pseudo record types — they are not DNS.
- If you bought through a reseller, you may need to use the reseller's panel instead.
After you save
DNS changes aren't instant. Resolvers keep the old answer until the previous record's TTL expires, so a record with a 4-hour TTL can take 4 hours to change everywhere. Use the Route Planner's live check to see what the world sees, and the troubleshooting page if it still looks wrong after the TTL has passed.
