Why PMS DNS is different
Other guides tell you what a record is. We tell you what to type.
Porkbun wants the root left blank. GoDaddy wants @. cPanel wants the full name with a trailing
dot. Cloudflare will quietly break your Shopify SSL if the record is proxied. The Route Planner knows all of that,
so the record you copy is the record that works — and the live check proves it.

What record do I need?
A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, CAA — each one in plain English, with the mistake people make most.
The 60-second version
- Find out who runs your DNS. It's whoever your nameservers point at — often, but not always, your registrar. Check yours.
- Log in there and find the DNS or zone editor. Every provider hides it somewhere slightly different.
- Add or edit the record exactly as that panel expects. The Route Planner writes it for you.
- Wait out the TTL, then check. Changes take as long as the old record's TTL to clear caches.
